Hair Tip #2 - How to get a quick, effortless style to attend all your 2019 events with !

Need a quick style to complete your look? No problem ! First off, this is by no means a plug for my Instagram pages ( Textur_Beauty_bar , The_Balayologist and TexturBlowOutBar ) but if you’re in a pinch and need some inspiration and don’t have time to wait for one of these fun blog posts , by all means go follow ! We have tons of styles and inspiration on the daily there !
Enough about that ! Lets get into some fun tips and tricks. I recently post a video on this cute but classic trick. I have to ask all my 90’s kids, do you remember those topsy pony tail things? That has the loop on the top and you can flip you pony tail to give it this super fun twist at the base? You do !? Well PERFECT!
Now channel that inner fun tool and lets have some fun !

Once you get the basic “ How To “ down , you can make it your own and have some fun adding on to it !
STEPS ON HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS LOOK
-First , I would recommend adding some texture to your hair. Wave it out, Scrunch it with some texture spray , whatever you want!
-After you create some movement in your hair ( curling wand, curling iron, natural wave ) Spray your hair with a light texture spray. Nothing too crazy but you need to be able to get some separation in the hair .
-Next step is to loosely collect your hair into a pony tail of your choice ( I am LOVING that scrunchies are coming back! It adds some pops of texture and color and dresses up any style ) . This is where you have fun, You can make your pony tail as big or as small as you’d like .
- Once you have your pony tail secured, create a hold in the center of the pony tail ABOVE the elastic or scrunchies you have it secured with. Nothing too crazy but you want to be able to FLIP the pony tail into the hole you have created ( literally just use your fingers to separate the hair so there is a space for the pony tail to be flipped up into and then pull the pony tail through ) . I found that if you keep the original pony tail a little looser at the top its easier to do this, you can pull the pony tail tighter at the end once you’ve created your adorable new look.
- To get that cute , is it braided or is it not braided look you have to follow one simple rule. “ Pinch and Pull”. Think of it like you’re pulling apart some crispy $20 Bills, how you pint and then roll the bills between your fingers to pull them apart. This is how you’re going to create that super awesome, effortless textured look. You can make your tiny fine haired pony tail so much bigger with using texture spray and this styling method !
-Okay ! So we should now have that super cute style almost finished now. There is one last step I recommend doing, and this is a great tip to help ANY up do or when your hair is pulled back. Again, you’re going to do the “Pinch and Pull” method but this time at the top of your hair ! it creates that softer volume at the crown of the head and less “ Athletic Pony Tail “ look.
-If you really want to get crazy you could do a few of these twist pony tails at the top of your head, pull them apart and create a ton of texture , then collect them into one scrunchie !
